Are you enjoying Paris?
Yeah, I’m really happy to be here. I haven’t had time to do any sightseeing really, we’re here for Fashion Week which starts tomorrow, but we did some shopping on Saturday at Scarlet! Paris is my favourite city in the world; I love the people and the style and energy here. French fashion is more avant-garde - people are prepared to take it one step above and be that little bit more daring, but even when you see people stepping out in the street they’re always impeccably dressed. I’m inspired by that attitude. I love London too, especially the people, it has a very different feel to Paris but I love it.
We’re very excited about the range at Claire’s – can you tell us a little more about it?
We have an in-house fashion team and everything we design is inspired by the stuff we like. It’s for women of any age. We connect with different people of many ages and that’s really important since we’ve got older. The accessories feature bohemian, Victorian and punk-rock pieces, as well as big handbags, hats and hairpieces. Make-up wise we’ve created essential, natural products and also stuff with a bit of a shimmer that we like to wear for going out. And we have two fragrances, NY Chic and LA Style.
