How did the fragrances come about?
We split our time between New York and LA, so we did a lot of research on current trends and what we feel reflects the essence of the cities, because they’re so different. NY Chic is a floral fragrance and LA Style vanilla.

Is there one item you couldn’t live without?
Yeah, my vintage sunglasses!

You’re becoming quite the fashion experts these days. Who are your favourite designers?
I love John Galliano, Dior Homme…I love their petite jackets – the smallest men’s size fits me! I love all vintage couture – almost all of my dresses are 1900s-1970s stuff. Christina Aguilera has really reinvented herself for her Back to Basics album with 20s and 30s vintage couture and I really love that, it’s great.

What trends should we be looking out for this season?
I think this season is all about the classic look, keeping it simple with black dresses and white T-shirts, and ankle boots.

Who are your fashion icons?
Brigitte Bardot, Audrey Hepburn…and for morals and values, my mom and dad!

How are you and your sister different in your fashion sense?
I tend to go for the classic look, and so does Mary-Kate – we wear a lot of the same stuff, exactly the same pieces even but we’ll accessorise differently.
