Male fashion trends autumn/winter 2008-09: bad boy, rebel, streetwear

Gangsta chic is big in male fashion, innit. The class of 2008 is clearly influenced by the US hip hop scene: duffel coats, XXL puffa jackets, large knit sweaters, baggy jeans and bling velvet trousers. While baggy will always be big, the new crew are also developing a far more refined urban style that's actually dead sexy.
 

How to wear it
Stop him from going too oversized. There's a fine art to baggy clothing: just a bit too big can look strange, but far too big can look plain daft! Steer him away from loud logos and he'll look far classier.
