Slim fashion is all about figure-hugging fits that create streamlined shapes. Skirts and dresses that don’t cling to the body don’t count! (The only exceptions to this rule are short skirts and clinging Bermuda shorts worn over leggings or opaque tights).
Traditional straight-legged fitted cigarette trousers, 50s-style, are a good example of the slim fit. Classic and reworked styles with a modern touch both work really well.
The ultimate slim style icon: Audrey Hepburn, who favoured leggings, black cigarette trousers, figure-hugging tops and flat ballet shoes.
