Before you hit the shops, here are some tips on how to look good in a bubble skirt, whetever your shape.

> The ‘balloon’ effect can make you look bottom-heavy. Balance out your top half with short, fitted tops that highlight your waist.

> Keep the rest of your look simple and unfussy - you’ll look elegant and stylish, but not overdone.

> By all means put your own personal touches into this look, but – please – don’t do a Madonna. Black is the new black.

> Bubble skirts are fun, so wear them with simple, funky tops and accessories and a big smile - you can't go wrong!
