A very contemporary way of doing the LBD is to go for the suit look. The masculine trend is huge at the moment. Try wearing a white shirt underneath your LBD. This was a big feature of Chanel's latest catwalk show and we also saw a lot of it at Viktor & Rolf for H&M.

The most important thing is to have the collar and sleeves of your shirt on show. Go for a tight-fitting shirt to avoid bunching or visible lines underneath your dress, and to get the sexy streamlined look that's big on the catwalk at the moment.
