Meat and cheese

Meat and cheese are known for being high in fat, so unsurprisingly manufacturers are coming up with healthier versions. You can now buy reduced-fat cold meats, cheese and paté. However, they often don't have the same taste or texture, because they're higher in water content and lower in fat.

However, you're better off having the full-fat version and having them less often than having the low-fat versions more often, because you'll enjoy them more and you won't be as tempted to have another piece. The one exception: cheese spreads, which have excellent low-fat versions."
