Make a shopping list before you go and stick to it ! Think about the meals you’ll be eating that week, or if you’re stocking up on basics, have an idea of what you need. A few wholesome store-cupboard staples: wholegrain rice and pasta, soups, spices, herbs. From the cold aisles, go for low-fat minced meat, lean chicken breasts, fish, smoked salmon, frozen vegetables, fat-free yoghurts, semi-skinned milk, eggs and of course plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables. | |||||||||||||||||||||
