What are the benefits of tennis?
Tennis is a technical sport and requires a huge amount of training. You can play inside or outside, on a variety of different surfaces. You need to be very adaptable, because matches can change completely from one to the next in terms of the surface, conditions, opposition and the stakes!
Tennis demands a lot of skill and co-ordination. You're constantly changing position on court, working your legs and racket to produce a range of different shots. Tennis is very demanding: it requires a lot of speed changes and strength all over, as well as a lot of endurance (and you never know how long a match is going to take).
When you've reached a certain level, you also need psychological strength to be a good player (for motivation, the will to win and fight for every point) and, of course, good tactics so that you place the ball well and anticipate what your opponent is going to do.
