Unfortunately, all too often when the cold hits and we're juggling a million things at once over ever-shortening days, we lose all motivation to hit the gym.
Get ahead and join a sports club, gym or sign up for classes now so that you'll keep going throughout the winer. Most clubs or lessons can be fitted in around busy lifestyles, and there's an increasingly varied choice of exercise to choose from, from tennis, golf, aerobics and swimming to judo, dancing and keep-fit (often with varying prices too). If you're going to shell out lots of money, be prepared to commit!
1 or 2 exercise sessions a week are recommended.
