In the second part of the session, the therapist will ask you to lie down, relax and fix your mind on something. The relaxation part of the session is under way!

He delivers his message with you listening, using abdominal respiration to relax you. He'll tell you some silly fairy stories and put on some music for a lullaby effect, and he'll finish by asking you to wake up.

The state of hypnosis isn't frightening in the least. After the first session, it's common to feel as if you haven't even been hypnotised, and you might even feel as if it's had no effect on you.
