From September through to Christmas, our diaries are full to bursting with work, kids' stuff, all those good resolutions (go out more; go to the gym; watch films, etc) and it's hard to stay afloat. Happy, healthy habits and resolutions are easy to keep at first, but the minute you have to cope with extra pressure, tiredness and tension, it can all get too much. You start to experience difficulty concentrating and sleeping, stomach ache, depression and headaches. Stress can become a real handicap and has to be taken seriously if you want to breeze through the winter months.
