Over the Christmas and New Year facilities, staying svelte is tougher than doing the Iron Man three times over. With Christmas parties, big family dinners and treats for the kids all around, to say nothing of edible presents (NB: we much prefer jewellery!) it's nigh-on impossible not to put any weight on.
But hey - it's Christmas, and we're not going to deprive ourselves either! The festive season is the one time of year when we're allowed to eat, drink and be merry. Eating yummy food is part of the festivities, and eating a plate of veg when everyone else is tucking into a roast dinner with all the trimmings is simply no way to live!
We've devised a handy quiz to help you enjoy yourself during the Christmas period with minimal damage to your waistline. How much do you really know about what festive food is okay and what is loaded with calories? Find out the savvy choices to make when choosing drinks and nibbles, starters, mains, cheese and desserts.
