Exercise and sport before bed

Ease off on intense exercise or activity that requires body and/or brain power.

It's best to avoid doing exercise before bed (after 7pm), just as you should avoid catching up on paperwork, correcting papers, re-reading essays, sorting out your finances or taking part in mind-boggling games or philosophical discussions before bed

Video games, the TV and Internet are also a bad idea before bed. They all increase body temperature and brain activity, both of which should be reduced before you hit the sack.

Try reading, listening to relaxing music, cosying up to your other half...and anything else that will relax you!
