This ensemble of shiny lurex hole top, houndstooth check jacket and essential tweed shorts embodies the London look for winter.

Traditional tweed and houndstooth are getting a thoroughly modern makeover, with square cuts, feminine shapes and nipped-in waists.

Yellow is definitely going to continue as this year's key colour, which is fab news. We're definitely going to be recycling our sunny tops to work into traditional looks as above (minus the holes for me - Ed). If you're more daring - and warm-blooded - customise and create your own holes.
