Fashion, French fashion at London Fashion Week

Sacré bleu! The tricolore was all over the catwalk in London, but for once a French invasion raised no complaints. This layered red, white and blue jumper and skirt ensemble with three quarter sleeves was a particular fave.

Parisian trends were on show on the Ashish runway, where a pair of glasses with the Eiffel Tower mounted on the frames were spotted. 

Another trend from la France: knee-high skin-colour stockings worn with minis. Faux pas or très chic? Time will tell if the trend will take off...
