The comeback of the YSL smoking jacket

The late Yves Saint Laurent was the first designer to bring the masculine tuxedo jacket, le smoking, to womenswear, and the masculine jacket for females is just as sexy now as it was back in the Sixties. It was a big feature in Alexis Mabille and Jean Paul Gaultier's collections.

Christophe Josse's take on the smoking jacket is supremely sexy over bare skin, plus the high buttons and floral embroidery on the back add a delightfully feminine touch.
