The basic look: first things first, this requires mid-length and slightly wavy hair (if yours isn't, get hold of some extensions and curling tongs!).

Ask your hairdresser to layer the entire length of your hair, flicking the tips over your shoulders.

Colour: Add highlights to the top of your head in a dark shade of red, bordering on maroon. Add a lighter shade to the lengths, even going as far as a washed pink/red colour - think Indian summer shades.
