Excessive use of dummies, pacifier, soother

Excessive use is improper.
You often see babies with their mouths permanently closed around a cute little pink or blue plastic dummy so that you can't see their mouth or hear their voice. You can barely make out an incomprehensible attempt at speaking...mummy and daddy obviously haven't taught their little one that it's rude to speak with your mouth full!
