Loosening of the pelvic floor muscles

If the pelvic floor muscles loosen, which is common after a pregnancy, it's easy to imagine the consequences: your organs have less support and so they tend to sag (prolapse being the most severe case of this). The sphincter functions less efficiently, causing urinary incontinence, and the bladder becomes especially weak during a coughing or laughing fit, for example.
