All the studies conducted on the risks related to cot death in newborns highlight the importance of babies' sleeping positions.

Sleeping on the stomach was recommended for a long time because it reduced the risks related to regurgitation, but it is no longer advised. A small baby doesn't yet have the strength to turn himself over if there's a problem.
