You can help your child improve their concentration in simple and easy ways.

In addition to school work, organise little 2-minute concentration sessions and turn them into a game.

For example, place ten objects on the table. Ask your child to memorise them for 1 minute, then remove the objects. The aim is to remember as many of the objects as possible (Kim's game).

Give them a 5-minute break, then play a guessing game, for example. Always make sure it lasts for a minimum of 2 minutes.

Vary these little exercises every day and gradually increase their length. In a week or two, you'll notice the progress they've made.
