Encourage your child, children and self-confidence, self-esteem and childhood

Show your child how impressed you are with every step they make as they learn and develop. Encourage them when they do less well. Praise them. Show them your satisfaction. And above all, never compare them to other children who concentrate more or do better!

For children of 6 and over, set little deals with them such as 15 minutes on the computer if they manage to read a page of text without getting distracted.
