 - Single mums: bringing up a child on your own
After a separation, divorce, widowhood or simply through choice, more and more women are bringing up their children alone. In situations where parents usually support and lean on each other, single mums have to make the decisions about bringing up their kids, provide all the love they need and even support them financially. Not exactly easy tasks!

To help single mums out there cope with the challenge of lone parenthood, we asked 5 readers to tell us about life as a single mum. Here are their stories.

Becoming a mum: what does it change?
- Chat with other mums about pregnancy and babies in our forums!

ER, CB. Many thanks to all the mums who shared their stories with us.
