'Real' depression

Postnatal depression is much more serious and goes much deeper than the baby blues.

It is a ‘real’ form of depression, which can become very serious indeed if it isn’t treated properly. The symptoms are different in intensity and length.

This specific form of depression affects 10% of new mothers.
