What do Popeye, Angelina Jolie, Queen Victoria, Winston Churchill and perhaps your colleague have in common? They all have (or had) tattoos. So much for body art only being for hard nuts, louts or people of little virtue!

And although tattoos have become more popular than ever, getting one isn't risk-free and requires reflection and precautions.

Having a tattoo isn't just a fashion craze: it's much more than a fashion statement and it can reveal many things about a person.
