There are two ways of creating your own personal blog.
If you're a technophile and you understand computers, you can install a blog software which lets you run your blog yourself from scratch.
But if you're a bit of a technophobe and scared of crashing your computer every time you install something new, start your blog at one of the many host sites out there on the web. The choice is huge, so you'll be able to find one you like - depending on how you want to use your blog and the size of any documents you want to put online. Some hosts offer a better service than others.
