Tips for glowing in winter, radiant |
|
It's not easy to go around with a beaming smile and maintain a good mood when the face staring back at you in the mirror is a healthy-looking shade somewhere between grey and green. Here are your tips on looking fresh-faced and radiant in spite of the season.
14. Maria's secret: "As soon as I start looking pale I treat myself to a very light fake tan." You can fake it for as little as a few quid or splash out on St Tropez - a bit of glow gives you an instant boost.
15. Another way of getting radiant skin without hitting the salon (or risking your health by going on a sunbed) is to use tanning moisturiser, like Lizzy: "I use Johnson's Holiday Skin all year round, not just when I'm back from my hols. It's great because it makes you moisturise all over, even when your arms and legs aren't on show. Just enough to keep the milk-bottle look at bay!"
16. Paula prefers using a loose powder with a little shimmer to illuminate her face: "A very light shimmering bronzer mixed with powder makes you look less like you're ill and gives you a hint of a glow."
