Why we love it: Friends wasn’t just a TV series, it was a phenomenon! It also opened all our eyes to the joys (and the pain!) of flat-sharing. They’re all a bit crazy, but hilariously funny, and we see ourselves in them. From side-splitting comic moments (Monica with her head stuck in the tukey) to the unforgettable catch-phrases and even songs (Janice’s “Oh my God” and Phoebe’s “Smelly Cat”), Friends kept us entertained throughout the Nineties.
