She answers to tyrant Miranda Bailey, along with her other colleagues. The series follows the youngsters as they learn to juggle their personal and professional lives.

Why we love it: Grey’s Anatomy is the most recent medical drama and focuses more on the doctors than on the patients. It never gets as dramatic or as gory as ER, but it’s just as realistic. The focus is on the young doctors, their love lives and their problems.
