The basics: A plane crashes on a desert island in the middle of nowhere, and 48 passagers survive. Led by Dr Jack Shepard, they have to combine all their strength to survive in the hostile environment they find themselves in. Bit by bit, their true colours come out and troubled pasts come back to haunt them as mysterious events start to unfold…

Why we love it: No-one’s really sure what the desert island is hiding: it looks like paradise but we soon realise not all’s sunny as troubles and mysteries present themselves! We love the flash-backs between past and present, because you get to find out about each character and their life before the crash. It keeps you guessing, biting nails, and holding your breath!
