The basics: Fictional football club Earls Park has its fair share of overpaid stars and demanding wives: superbitch Tanya Turner and equally horrible husband Jason, tacky Posh and Becks couple Kyle and Chardonnay and troubled Donna and Jason.
Main characters: Series 5: Zöe Lucker (Tanya Turner), Gillian Taylforth (Jackie Pascoe-Webb), Ben Richards (Bruno Milligan), Helen Latham (Lucy Milligan), Sarah Barrand (Shannon Donnelly-Lawson), Nicholas Ball (Garry Ryan), Craig Gallivan (Callum Watson).
Why we love it: The characters change a bit too often for our liking, but the show is addictive, with its cheeky take on the real world of footballer's wives - the infighting, bitchiness, sleeping around, obsession with wealth and lack of class!
