Whether you're a pro at time management or you need a helping hand, here's an exercise you'll find useful for making the most of your time.
Organisation exercise
Get out your to-do list, or make one quickly, and then take a pencil and paper and make a table with four columns. Put everything on your list into the following categories: urgent, urgent but not important, important but not urgent, not urgent or important. Then see what priorities and planning you can change according to what you need to do and how important it is to you.
The aim: Be flexible! After re-arranging your diary, if you're managing to do everything on your list by the deadlines you set yourself, you're managing your time well. If not, you're being unrealistic with your targets.
