Vulval pain

Some women have an area of skin at the level of the vulva that hurts or may tear during sexual activity. It's often at the back of the vulva, on the side towards the anus. As a result of the pain caused, these women end up feeling very apprehensive about having sex.

How is it treated?
By surgery, the main procedure is called a vestibulectomy. It involves repairing and giving the vulva a natural shape, so there's no longer an area which pulls, hurts or tears during sex.

Results
After a relatively quick period of healing, the woman will experience comfort and it can completely change her sex life. She can finally relax and enjoy the pleasures of love-making!
