I didn't fall in love with Alex straight away. We got to know each other first and then it became obvious we were meant to be together. We met on the Internet about 3 years ago. I'd just come back from abroad and dating sites were all the rage, so I signed up out of pure curiosity! I never thought I'd find my soul-mate on the Net - I just wanted to find out what type of guy used those sites. I soon got into it, and the rest is history!

Alex got in touch and we got on straight away as friends. We found out all about each other and had a good laugh about other people we'd met on the site. Then we met in person. It was a lovely evening, but nothing happened. After lots of webchats and nights out, and with previous failed relationships behind us both, I started wondering why I was looking elsewhere when I got on so well with Alex. He won me over gradually, and it all happened once when he invited me around to his. We've never looked back since, and we now have a beautiful little girl. The Internet isn't just for meeting one-night stands after all!
