Amy and Mike: "All down to circumstances"

Amy and Mike are both 25 and live together in London. Amy works in publishing and Mike has his own business.

Amy: We didn't seek each other out - I guess fate brought us together! We went out for dinner and hit it off instantly. Otherwise there's no way we would have got together 'cause we've got nothing in common!

Mike: I'd heard a lot about Amy from a mutual friend and seen a photo of her, so I was quite keen to meet her. I thought she sounded really interesting, so I got in touch with her and asked her out on a date. She said yes and it all worked out.

Amy: I said yes to the date though I didn't even know him. I'd heard a lot about him though, so I guess I went along out of curiosity. I didn't even really think about anything else at that point because I was in love with someone else at the time!

Mike: The moment I laid eyes on her I felt something change in me. She was gorgeous and she looked dead classy. I spent the evening listening to her and looking at her and I loved the way she was interested in everything I said, even though she didn't know me. She was gentle but she had a brilliant sense of humour. It really was love at first sight - for me, anyway! 

Amy: The first time we met I thought he was really fit, had lots about him, and he was quite understated and considerate. He intrigues me! He had everything I like in a bloke, and it was the first time I'd ever met anyone like that. It took me a while to realise it was right and trust him, but we soon became inseparable and we're very happy together.
