One-night stands, condoms, Pill, implant

If you care about your health, use condoms. They protect you against all STDs. 

But condoms alone aren't 100% effective against unwanted pregnancies, so it's best to use them alongside another, safer contraceptive such as the Pill (combined Pill or Mini-pill), the coil, the implant, the vaginal ring, or even the patch.
