Happiness at work

You actually want to go to work
Who'd have thought it? The alarm goes off at 6am, it's pitch black outside and tipping it down, but you leap out of bed ready for work with a grin on your face like a child on Christmas morning. Whereas before you used to count down the hours till the weekend, suddenly you're dreading Friday afternoon because it means you won't get to see him again until Monday morning...

You make an effort
You don't say a word when you're asked to stay late and you find any old excuse to do overtime. You start getting your going-out clothes out of your wardrobe for Monday mornings and making sure you always look your best for your office crush.

The boss is happy
Whether you're still at the making-eyes-over-the-coffee-machine stage or you're actually getting it on, having a love interest at work can be a real boost. You turn up with a smile on your face, you're out to impress people, and quite aside from your own happiness, it makes the boss happy to see you looking so bright-eyed, bushy-tailed and eager to get to work!
