Gossip

Steve: We weren't very smart about it and of course everyone knew. The night we first got together, at the office party, everyone knew we were more than just workmates and the rumours started to go round. Our boss came to see us and said there was no problem, but it was made clear our relationship shouldn't affect our work, and it was particularly important that no-one should thought I was showing Caroline any favouritism.  

Caroline: When we got together tongues really started wagging, and people started coming into the office without knocking, as if they expected us to be getting it on in there. 'Fraid they were disappointed!
