Is this linked to bestiality?  Not at all.  Your hormones during your period can make you want sex, just as it does during ovulation.  It’s natural, plenty of people enjoy it.

Bear a couple of things in mind though.  If your partner finds your blood repellent, it’s best not to push the point, after all, you wouldn’t like it if he made you do something you didn’t enjoy.  Alternatively, wearing a condom might make it easier for him.  Secondly, sexually transmitted diseased are more easily passed on through menstrual blood, so condom use is essential if you don’t know his sexual history.
