I don't make much noise during sex

I don't make much noise during sex

Shouting out and moaning during sex are often seen as irrefutable proof of pleasure.  This is however, totally false as plenty of women climax in an intense silence!  Why is this idea so prevalent?

The adult film industry is largely to blame.  In a porn film, moaning and shouting are the best ways to show pleasure.  The director isn’t trying to represent real sex, but to communicate what’s going on to his audience by showing an exaggerated view of reality.  Real-life sex doesn’t look like porn!

We sometimes shout out just before climaxing, out of surprise, pain, or sheer orgasmic force.  But remaining silent during lovemaking is completely normal… as is shouting the house down!  As with many other things, there’s no ‘norm’.
