Losing your virginity takes a certain amount of maturity, everyone develops at their own pace and it’s very important not to rush things.  Some girls mature very quickly, some slowly and others start their sexual lives very early, have a disastrous or painful experience and leave it years until they have sex again.   

90% of women are disappointed by their first time, which shows that in most cases, they didn’t wait for the right time or person.  If you don’t have any psychological issues surrounding sex, it is perfectly normal to remain a virgin into your twenties.

The average age for a woman to lose her virginity is 17, which means that around half of women hasn’t haven’t yet had sex for the first time at that age.  Within this half, a number will start their sexual lives after the age of 20, but remember that it isn’t just down to emotional and sexual maturity, but also to when you meet the right person!
