Hold on to a relationship without kids

Our psychotherapist says: 
I think Natasha misinterpreted her partner's question. He asked her if she wants to be the mother of his children - he didn't ask her to be his mum! This is without a doubt what shocked Natasha so much, but she needs to take a raincheck and realise times have changed. She isn't, nor will she ever be, her mother-in-law. If all that's putting her off having children is the thought of losing her sex appeal, she could do with finding a better example than her mother-in-law. If she were to meet a mum-of-three who still looks young and sexy, she'll realise you can be a sexy woman as well as a mum, and this could make things fall into place for her.   

Our sociologist says: 
This is all about the generation gap. Each generation brings about a revolution. Morals and ideas change  so fast that by the time we reach adulthood, the role models from the previous generation are irrelevant to ours. Today's thirtysomethings are so far removed from their parents that they need to create their own role models instead of looking to the previous generation for guidance.
