My partner announced to me the other day when we were in bed together: "I think I'm ready to have children. I'd like four, like my brother and sisters. How many do you want?" All I could see was this picture we have of his mum when she was young, sitting on some grass in a beautiful dress that showed off her amazing long legs, smiling from ear to ear. I didn't even recognise her at first from the fat frump she is now after having four kids. I don't want to end up like that. Yummy mummy? I know when you have kids it's difficult to stay sexy. You don't have time to spend on grooming and looking good when you've got kids, a house and a job to juggle. I want my bloke to fancy me. I don't want him to see me with bags under my eyes from sleepless nights or with saggy boobs. I know it's selfish, but that's just how I feel. When he asked me about having children I didn't reply, I just suggested we go back to bed...but I don't think that took his mind off it, and I don't think he understands how I feel.
