If you've ever looked at Margot Robbie's flawless face, you've probably wondered what her big beauty secret it. But this is Margot, she's not just going to tell us to drink plenty of water and always take our makeup off, is she? That's not what goddesses do. In a recent interview, Ms Robbie gave some rather strange beauty tips - and you can try them, if you dare...

Weird celeb beauty techniques are nothing new, and we aren't ashamed to admit that we've tried them all, from putting avocado in our hair a la Selma Hayak, Kate Middleton spreading Nutella on her chops or popping a dot of minty toothpaste on our spots like Gigi Hadid. I mean, almost anything anyway - except being stung by bees, we'll leave that to Gwyneth and her Goop team, thank you very much.

So when Margot Robbie shared her unconventional beauty tips recently, we were confused, but willing to give it a go.

Speaking to Elle, Ms Robbie listed her top three beauty bag must-haves, which included Peter Thomas Roth complexion correction pads, Caudalie facial mist and... Bepanthen as lip balm? "[It's] actually a nipple cream for breastfeeding mothers or diaper rash cream for babies. I have a conspiracy theory that lip balms actually have additives in them to dry your lips out so you keep buying them. But because Bepanthen is just a cream for dry skin, it works. It's what I've used my whole life."

Ok, we'll try it Margot. We'll try it for you.

Next, Elle asked about the best beauty trick she's ever learned, and here's when things get even more unconventional: forget beauty blenders, Margot's a bigger fan of using a toothbrush in her beauty regime.

"My friend taught me this trick that I use it every day. When I put on foundation, I use an eyebrow brush or toothbrush to brush it into my hairline so that it all blends. Especially because I have blonde hair but tanned skin, if I don't blend it, it looks gross—you can see the foundation in my hair.I do that every single day, and every time my husband [Tom Ackerley] is like, 'What are you doing?' And I say, 'I'm brushing my make-up into my hairline!' And he's like, 'Girls are crazy.'"

Well, Tom's not wrong, is he? But you can't knock it 'til you've tried it, right? Which is why we're heading to Boots right now for a lifetime supply of toothbrushes. One more question, Margot: manual or electric? We need to know the particulars of this.
