Microblading: The Latest Beauty Trend To Hit Our Brows

Put your brow pencils down, you're gonna want to hear this. If you've had it with growing and filling in your brows everyday (hell yes), microblading could be your new bezzie pal. The latest beauty trend transforms over-plucked / naturally sparse eyebrows to thick and fabulous works of art, literally. Sign. Us. Up.

Nope, not some new terrible winter sport designed especially for small people, "microblading" is the latest beauty trend set to change your brow game forever. Can we get the Hallelujah emoji up in here.

Originating in Asia, microblading or eyebrow embroidery as it's sometimes called by the snazzy people who know, is a way of depositing pigment under the epidermis using a specially designed blade. Yep, as in an actual implement with a cutting edge, well, 10-16 fine needles to be more exact.

Deal-breaker? Pause that thought 'cos there is some method to apply here: The tiny blade leaves realistic hair strokes for a more naturally defined thicker fleeker brow. Is that a word? If not, it should be Urban D, it should be.

From a light, feathery finish to beautiful bold shapely brows, the bespoke design can be tailored specifically to suit you. OK, so what if it's a few needles, we can deal. On the other hand, threading gives me sweaty palms and heart palpitations...

Perfect for those of you looking to improve the definition and shape of your brows, add colour and density, fill in over-tweezed gaps OR if you're just plain impatient at trying to grow the beggers - Me, me, me and me.

As for the downtime, you should allow 10 days for the healing process as they can often scab over - nothing a bit of nightly coconut oil can't handle though.

Every fallen hair restored. What a time to be alive! Treatments range from £200-300 and results lasts up to 2 years. Don't miss our tried and tested microblading review, coming soon!
