Red-heads generally have pale skin, sometimes featuring freckles. Use shades of beige or golden beige to add light to both your complexion and hair.
As for make-up, avoid combining colours, instead stick with harmonious tones and variations of earth colours (brick-red, orange, apricot, maroon, brown, etc).
