There is no miracle prescription to help you fall
pregnant, but a few lifestyle changes will help:
- Relax: Stress and fatigue deplete your immune system
and libido. You need to feel up to making love to
conceive!
- Stop smoking: As if you needed another reason, studies
have shown that smoking has a negative effect on both
male and female fertility, sometimes leading to impotence
in men.
- Limit your alcohol consumption: As well as harming
the foetus, alcohol lowers fertility.
- Be careful with over-the-counter remedies: Ask your
doctor or pharmacist before taking any drugs while
trying to conceive.
- Finally, start to adapt your life to your life to
having children - there's no point in embarking on
a deep-sea diving course, or planning a trip trekking
in the Andes if you're hoping to fall pregnant.
