Stress and fertility do not go well together. No direct link has been proven, but stress is known to affect the wellbeing of mums to be, in the same way as everyone else (difficulty sleeping, digestive problems and headaches to name but a few symptoms) which in turn makes it harder to conceive.

When you're trying for a baby, you need to put yourself first. Slow down, you don't need to go everywhere people invite you. Rest and relax as much as you can, but think about taking up a form of gentle exercise if you haven't already to keep in shape - yoga, pilates and stretching are all great for pregnant women.
