Nicolas Le Cauchois' collection is a mix of very different and very strong pieces with other more forgetful ones. At 33, Le Cauchois is still a very young and talented designer. His models look unbelievably sexy and curvy in his lace dresses.
We also loved his 'aristo trench' in grey linen, his evening peignoir dress in gauze gold linen and his very simple shawl dress in black georgette crêpe.
Stunning yet simple pieces are a big feature of his collection, such as a 3-tier top in georgette or a folded indigo cocktail dress. Slightly heavy on the skinny jumpers, his collection is still impressive and we'll interested to see which direction he takes next season…hopefully he will work more to his strengths, i.e. muslin and georgette.
